As this milestone year draws to a close, I’ve found myself reflecting on the extraordinary journey that has brought Royal Neighbors of America® to this moment. For more than 130 years, generations of our members have built, protected, and carried forward a mission rooted in faith, courage, unselfishness, endurance, and humility. It is a legacy not just remembered, but lived.
Our founders could never have imagined the many ways their vision would grow and evolve. Yet they knew that when people come together with shared purpose, they can build something that lasts beyond any single lifetime. That belief is still at the heart of everything we do. It’s in the member who comforts a grieving neighbor, the chapter that lifts its community in a moment of need, and the promise of life insurance that ensures love and legacy live on.
This December, we honor that living legacy through the story of the late Tamekia Hunter Ross, a Nation of Neighbors℠ recipient whose compassion and conviction echo the spirit of our founding women. Her story reminds us that while times change, the power of our purpose endures. Turn to page five and be inspired.
