Treva Waters Embracing the Mission

Royal Neighbors appointed Agent Treva Waters was drawn to our mission from the very beginning. “As soon as I read about Royal Neighbors’ founding women and the mission to insure lives, support women, and serve communities℠, I wanted to be a part of it,” shared Treva.

For Treva and her husband, Jason, giving back to their community is an integral part of their lives. “Volunteering allows us to support community members, meet new people, and share our experiences with others,” said Treva. “It’s an extension of our work as agents to help others. My husband and I often meet people who don’t have family or a support system in place. We are grateful God gives us the opportunity to show someone love and kindness when they need it most.”

This year, Treva applied for the Difference Maker Fund to complete a project in memory of her mother. She recruited family and friends to create a beautiful brick flower planter shaped like a cross, a tribute to her mother’s life. “The process to apply for the grant was so easy,” said Treva. “After completing the project, we shared our story during a church service. Our congregation loved hearing about the difference Royal Neighbors members are making in communities nationwide.”
