Back in July 2011, a Girl Scout set out to complete her Silver Project by giving back in a meaningful way. With the help of Royal Neighbors Chapter 2317, she created a community flower bed. Both with care and creativity, they worked together to make a lasting difference for their city.
Parkgoers visiting Rathdrum Park in Rathdrum, Idaho, have enjoyed this added beauty for more than a decade. This year the chapter gave the space some extra attention. The posts surrounding the flower bed were still in good shape, but they needed a little TLC. With sanding and a fresh coat of paint, now the posts look just like they did when they were first installed.
We’re inspired by Chapter 2317’s dedication to proudly maintain this flower bed for 14 years! Their unwavering commitment to their community and to building strong partnerships is a beautiful testament to the impact of giving back.
