As we celebrate our 130th anniversary, I’m deeply moved by the extraordinary spirit and dedication of our members—nearly 300,000 strong—who bring our mission and values to life in communities across the country. Together, you embody what it means to be Insurance with a Difference℠.
After 130 years, and thanks to your support, we continue to grow stronger. In December 2024, we were recognized with an “A (Excellent)” rating from AM Best and honored to be named a Forbes’ America’s Best Insurance Company for 2025. We also earned our eighth Great Place to Work® Certification, a reflection of the dedicated team that supports you every day.
In 2024 we earned a total income of $281.3 million, achieved a net income of $1.7 million, and maintained a certificateholders’ surplus that exceeds regulatory requirements. You can view our Annual Report here.
I am proud to share that in 2024, your collective efforts generated a record-breaking $43.8 million in Social Good, including more than 553,000 volunteer hours. These stats are proof of the powerful impact our members make every day through service, leadership, and compassion in their communities.
Our enduring mission is made possible by a foundation of financial strength. As Director of Investments Evan Johnson puts it, our strategy to expand the capacity for greater impact is rooted in our unwavering commitment to our members. We do so by continuing to honor our founding value of endurance through thoughtful financial stewardship designed to safeguard your future and deliver on our promises to you.
