Cloud dough is the perfect activity for children and grandparents alike. It is quick and easy to make and creates hours of imaginative fun! We love that it’s only two ingredients that are readily available in most kitchens. Add a rolling pin, cookie cutters, or craft sticks for unlimited creations!
Cloud Dough
Ingredients
1 cup lotion or conditioner (scented or unscented)
2 heaping cups cornstarch
2-3 drops food coloring (optional)
Instructions
Mix the lotion (or conditioner) and food coloring until combined. Add the cornstarch and mix until the mixture appears crumbly. Use your hands to finish kneading the dough until it’s fully blended and smooth. Children love this part because they get a little messy!
If your dough dries out or turns out a little dry after making it, try adding more lotion (or conditioner). If the dough is too sticky, add a little more cornstarch.
Storage
Wrap the dough tightly with plastic wrap and store it in an airtight container for up to one week.
