When you become a Royal Neighbors member, you have access to a variety of Member Programs that help you care for your family and serve your community.
COMMUNITY CHAPTERS
Located across the country, our community chapters are changing neighborhoods through volunteer work in their local communities.
You can join a current chapter in your neighborhood, or we can help you start your own. We will provide you with funding to help make your chapter projects and goals a reality. The more volunteer activity your chapter generates, the more funding it is eligible to receive.
DIFFERENCE MAKER FUND
You can apply for a Difference Maker Fund grant once a year to help offset the costs of your volunteer project. If approved, you will receive $200 to make an impact in your community. Gather your family and friends to support a cause that is most important to you.
Inspiration for your project:
- Provide a meal for a local shelter
- Knit baby blankets for a hospital
- Host a community fundraiser
- Clean up your neighborhood
- Assemble care packages
EMPATHY
Royal Neighbors beneficiaries and up to four family members have access to Empathy – a bereavement support solution giving your loved ones full-circle care through life’s most challenging moments. When your loved one calls us to make a claim, we will notify them of this complimentary service.
MEMBER RELIEF FUND
Since 1921, our Member Relief Fund has provided financial support to qualified Beneficial Members experiencing hardship due to illness, accidents, or a natural disaster.
If you are insured under an insurance certificate, the initial owner of an annuity certificate, or the person receiving the benefits under a supplementary contract with Royal Neighbors, you may qualify for up to $200 of premium relief through this member fund.
MEMBER SAVINGS
You and your immediate family members have access to prescription savings and affordable preventative health screenings.
Healthcare keeps getting more expensive, but you shouldn’t have to choose between your prescription medications and other essential expenses. Save 10% to 85% on most prescriptions at 60,000 retail pharmacies nationwide.
Preventative health screenings go beyond your regular checkup with a simple ultrasound screening to look inside your arteries for plaque buildup, a major risk factor of stroke.
NATION OF NEIGHBORS℠
Our signature women’s empowerment program, Nation of Neighbors℠, recognizes women doing extraordinary things to impact the lives of women and girls.
You can help us spread women’s empowerment by nominating a leader in your community! Nation of Neighbors recipients are influential leaders who exemplify our “neighbor-helping-neighbor” mission of community service.
ROYALCONNECT
RoyalConnect is a monthly program designed to connect you to our mission through small acts of kindness. You will receive a monthly email that makes it simple to participate. When you share your act of kindness with us through the easy online form, we will donate $10 to the selected nonprofit.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Royal Neighbors of America Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to members who are insured by or own an annuity with Royal Neighbors and plan to pursue post-secondary education at an accredited institution to obtain a trade or vocational degree, associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or doctoral degree.
Since its inception in 1961, our Scholarship Program has provided more than $5 million in funding to qualifying students who are selected based on their academic merit, community volunteer efforts, and leadership skills.
We are a membership organization that blends life insurance coverage with the joy of giving back. When you become a member, you become an integral part of a movement that empowers women, supports communities, and strives to make the world a better place.
