Shannon Gruhlke, Accounting Operations Supervisor, may have only been with Royal Neighbors for less than a year, but she’s already made a significant impact within her department.
Shannon was asked to take charge of consolidating the Society’s banking practices. Under her leadership, Shannon’s team was able to implement new technology enhancements and procedures that will improve our net investment income and cash management capabilities, as well as minimizing the risk of fraud loss and lowering our overall banking fees. These changes will help the Society maximize its value to you, our members.
Outside of the office, Shannon and her husband Louis, who she met while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, are learning to embrace their empty nest. Their daughter, Grace, is a freshman at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. Shannon believes that she has found her niche at Royal Neighbors, working with wonderful colleagues and helping support
our mission.
