Member Sandra Potts and her team of volunteers crafted a quilt for a local woman name Jamie, who is battling a serious disease. Sandra enlisted community support and spent more than 60 hours on her Difference Maker Fund project!
Sandra has been instrumental in helping small towns form women’s advocacy groups. She also has a history of volunteerism that emphasizes the power of small crafts. Their community rallied around this project to create a quilt that symbolizes unity, support, care, and compassion, while bringing joy. Jamie said the quilt has continued to give her comfort throughout her journey.
